MYNYDD MYDDFAI RIDE
The Mynydd Myddfai Ride is between 4 and 5 hours in the saddle, and is predominantly over wild and open hills and moorland with stunning views of the Welsh countryside, depending on the weather conditions! It includes a ride through the Glasfynydd Forest and alongside the Usk Reservoir.
You will have almost unlimited chances for long canters and gallops. You will ride past the wild mountain ponies, and there are many opportunities to see much wildlife, and sightings of the once rare and endangered Red Kite are almost guaranteed.
MYNYDD EPYNT RIDE
The Mynydd Epynt Ride begins with a ride through the Halfway Forest before moving out on to open moorland, which includes riding over part of the Ministry of Defence's Sennybridge Training Area.
There is a series of optional small jumps on a mile-long gallop.
There are stunning views of the surrounding wild Welsh countryside, depending on the weather conditions!
HORSE DRAWN WAGON DRIVE
For anyone who is not able to ride or whose riding ability does not allow them to come on a Mountain Ride (perhaps the partner of a Rider), there is the option to have a drive in a horse drawn wagon on forestry and moorland roads and tracks.
